You can DIY it, but pressure washers are easy to misuse — too much pressure gouges wood, cracks siding, forces water behind panels, and strips paint. Use the right nozzle, keep distance, spray downward, and start on a low setting. Never pressure-wash near electrical, windows, or up under lap siding. For two-story homes or delicate surfaces, a pro (or soft-washing) is safer.
