What's the best flooring for a kitchen?

Need something durable and water-resistant for a busy kitchen. What holds up best?

    For kitchens, prioritize water resistance and durability: luxury vinyl plank (LVP) and porcelain tile are the top picks. LVP is warmer underfoot, easier to install, and forgiving of spills; tile is the most water- and scratch-proof but harder underfoot. Avoid solid hardwood near sinks unless well-sealed. Whatever you choose, good subfloor prep makes it last.
