Tankless Venting

Asked March 20, 2017 by a contractor in Heating and Ventilation (RealtyLInk)

Installing a Tankless water heater and my intake is about 4 ft longer then my exchause pipe. Will this cause issues with the consistant flow as they said it should be close to length as possible. Thanks

Assume your water heater is gas. so you’re saying that the gas line to the tankless heater is a bit longer than the vent pipe (through the roof)? No worries. No effect on water heater.
