Should I tip a handyman?

Asked June 10, 2014 by a homeowner in Financing (Kareen Joy Castanos)

I'm having two handymen come tomorrow to do about $250 of work in my house from repairing floors to replacing door handles to repairing leaks. They don't own the company, but work for someone else. Should I tip each of them? And how much would be right? They'll probably be here from 9 to 5. Thanks in advance for any advice you could give me.

If his service is better than expected, then you should. Just my opinion.

I think tipping a handyman is a great way to forge a relationship and to create a profile for yourself.
