Electrical

We have an old (1980's) whole house generator electrical panel but we do not have a generator. I need someone who knows about generators and alternative back up power sources (including solar and rechargeable power stations) to help me understand how to use the panel and what kind of power source to buy as part of our hurricane preparation plan. This could probably be accomplished virtually by just looking at a picture of the panel, which I could easily provide. Thank you.
