Ducts and Vents

We need a new dryer vent installed. Residential 2 story home built in 1984. Current original dryer vent runs ~30ft between first and second floor from front to back of house with a ~15ft offset, creating too many turns and too far of length to clean effectively. Also original duct material is narrow thin white bathroom vent type. We would like to run a new shorter more direct vent with modern ducting material. Potentially directly out the front wall right where the dryer is located, or through the attic directly above the dryer.
