Project Description

Hello! Thank you for looking into this small project. The overall design is similar to the following youtube video (please click/copy paste): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxhK-aV_8y8 Notes about design: 1) Materials will be provided (large MDF 0.75" board and 4 small wheels). 2) No need to sand, stain, paint. 3) You may use either wood glue, nails or screws to fasten edges. 4) The bottom part of the box will simply be just that - an open box (no extra compartment, or routing where all the wire comes out, etc). 5) Include the sliding top lid just like in the video including all the zigzag features and vent opening 6) There is no need to worry about soundproof material. It’s being delivered, and I will have to do that on my own when it arrives. Please leave at least a generous 1” space around all sides of the bottom part of the box from your initial design, so there is space to put the soundproof material (same goes with the area around the zigzag panels). 7) Drill 1.25” diameter hole (so I can thread all the flexible vacuum hose out) and 1” diameter hole (for plug of vacuum) on same side of the vent of the top lid. The item going inside the wooden box is a Eureka 3670G Mighty Mite Canister Vacuum (just the body of vacuum and the flexible hose, not including that long, solid extension hose). Please click/copy paste on amazon link below to look at pictures. http://www.amazon.com/Eureka-3670G-Mighty-Canister-Vacuum/dp/B00002N8CX/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1418093694&sr=8-1&keywords=mighty+mite The product dimensions are 18.2 x 13.6 x 13.6; 10 pounds. Should we decide to work together, I’ll drop off that new vacuum unit to you, so you may work with it into your building process. No rush with this wooden box; you may work on it as you would with any leisurely weekend project. :) You would have 100% complete creative & design control of this project. I’ll accept the final product as is, pay you, ask no questions, make no request for last-minute changes, etc and load it onto my truck. If you have any questions, please send me an email and I would be glad to answer it. Best!
