Attics

The following wording is from a home inspection we had prior to purchasing our home. We have lived in the home for a few years without addressing this issue: “Attic: Cracked or damaged rafters were evident in one or more areas. One of the truss webbings is broken in half and needs to be repaired by attaching another 2x4 along-side and secure with fasteners at least 2 feet past each side of the break. Review by a qualified person and repair as needed.” We need a contractor to inspect and further evaluate these issue, and then fix whatever problems are found.
