Exterior Painting or Staining

I have wood siding with a S.E. exposure that needs to be sealed up and possibly repaired or replaced. When the severe weather came last winter there is a leak into the house at the soffit above the rear slider. Once sealed/repaired, I'd like to have the rear of the house painted.
