REMOVE DIRT FROM DRAINAGE DITCH AT 6211 RODRIGO STREET: The previous owner of 6211 Rodrigo Street improperly "filled in" his street-side drainage ditch and then laid small landscaping rocks on the area. This has impeded drainage from 6207B Rodrigo (which is the neighboring property to the south). The current property owners at both 6207B Rodrigo and 6211 Rodrigo are working together to correct this problem. To simplify the process, the homeowner at 6207B Rodrigo is coordinating the project and will pay the company that performs the work, although most work will be completed on the property at 6211 Rodrigo Street. PROJECT DESRIPTION: The rocks and dirt in the drainage ditch need to be removed to a level that allow the northward flow of water from rain and from drainage pipes that empty into drainage ditch at 6207B Rodrigo. The project would be to: STEP 1: Move rocks from the surface on the drainage ditch and then set them side. These are small, 1-2 inch rocks. They cover an area approximately 25 feet in length, 3 feet wide and approximately 1-3 inches deep. These rock will be reused - see step 3. STEP 2: Remove and dispose of underlying dirt to a level at least 3 inches below (or lower) the drainage ditch at 6207B Rodrigo. The ditch would be the typical type of residential drainage type normally seen in the Houston area. (Approximately 2.5 -3 feet deep, 1 foot wide at base with 45 degree sloping sides to base). STEP 3: Move rocks set aside in Step 1 back into ditch, such that they remain at or below the level of the drainage ditch at 6207B Rodrigo. (NOTE: This project may result in the ditch at 6211 Rodrigo being lower than the ditch at 6213 Rodrigo (which is the neighboring property on the north side of 6211 Rodrigo) . That is acceptable, as any difference will be handled later and separately.)
