Plastering - Repair

We need some framing wok done on this site. The plans call for Blocking between the stud, and some additional Simpson Strong tie brackets on the walls with antenna’s outside. The plans say to verify sheer wall, and if not install one. It was noted on a site visit that will need to be installed as well. The area this is being installed currently has lathe and plaster wall coverings. I am checking if we can repair with regular drywall. We will have a crane for a day, at the beginning and end of the job to lift materials to the roof.
