Hello. This is about the installation of salt free water filtration system (NOT about water softener) – and so the installation aspect is straightforward. I recently purchased whole the whole house AoSmith water filtration system (descaler, sediment filter, and water filter (chlorine)). I would like a professional to install a shutoff valve and two Tee connectors below and above the shut off valve on the main water line (which is in the basement). This is to allow for a bypass to be installed. Optionally, the handyman can continue and install the bypass work, which can be copper pipe or PEX using threaded or push-in connectors (for easy removal/adjustments in the future). Also, I would like to have water pressure gauges before and after the bypass, and adjusting the water pressure if needed. I already have the schedule 80 unions for putting the AoSmith water filter and descaler in series. Also the AoSmith filtration system came with two shutoff valves that can be installed on the bypass (not the main water line).
