Framing Systems

I purchased my home in 2018, it's a 2008 doublewide. Several months ago, I noticed a very prominent gap between the floors that join the two halves of my home together. I called my insurance and they said that I had a 36 month "window" to file a claim pertaining to this issue. No one told me about any 36 window. The representative that I spoke with said they don't cover settling of the home. Now I'm faced with the issue of hopefully correcting this problem. I'm hoping to find someone to help me.
